France calls for the protection of civilians and respect for international humanitarian law

France is alarmed by the growing number of humanitarian crises worldwide, particularly in Gaza, but also in Ukraine, Sudan, Haiti, Yemen and Syria. We call for respect for international humanitarian law, and for the principles of precaution and proportionality in the use of force.
